And what would you answer to that title? I am guessing that most of us have had some kind of personal finance issue one time or another. It's not always easy to make the right decisions when it comes to money. Even making the right decisions will sometimes take you on a bumpy ride with your finances.

It is never easy and not very funny to be out on a limb with your finances. Are you all alone with no kid that's one thing, but what if you are a single parent with two kids? Or even a bigger family? Now you are talking about a stressful situation.

So what can you do when you have fallen and all your credits are used up, your credit report only have bad things to say about you and every day is a struggle. Well here is one angle you can approach this with. Stop using and start earning. It might sound dumb or even plain rude, but that is not my intent at all. First take a look at what you need to use and what you earn. And in most cases it will be possible cut down on expenses and increase the income. It won't be easy but it is possible.

Many people will be surprised by how much money they can actually save by cutting their expenses. And when that is done you will have to look at ways to get more income. That might also come as a surprise but it can be easy enough with some help.

But for all of this to work out the right way, you will need to know everything that is in your credit report and you need to take absolute control over all the paperwork. There is no shortcut to fixing your personal finances. There might be a secret or two that can be learned, but ultimately it comes down to old fashion grinding.

Running a home business can be a nightmare at times. You'd be surprised how many things can pop up in your day making it so that you just have no idea where to turn to next. I know the feeling. Even after over five years of running my own business, I have days when I look at my to-do list and want to cry in my beer. So how do I do it? How do I cope with the massive amounts of work that has to be done? Well, I'm going to share with you a few tips that I hope will help you in keeping those balls in the air so that they don't come crashing down to earth.

What I do, before I go to bed at night, is make my to-do list. I write it down so that I can see everything that I have on my plate. Naturally, unexpected things are going to pop up, but we won't worry about them for now. Let's just get a handle on what we KNOW we have to do the next day.

When you make your list, prioritize it. Put the things that have to be done right away, or are most critical, at the top of the list. This way, if for some reason you don't get to the whole list, the things that are most important will get done. It's stupid to do the things that don't bring you income first when you have items that are direct money makers, such as product creation and promotion, ahead of the pack. Do what needs to be done first, first.

Try to figure out how long you think each task is going to take. At first, this is going to be hard to do, especially if you're just starting out. Gradually, you'll get a feel for how long each item is going to take. For example, after writing articles for years, I know that I can write one article in about 15 minutes. So if I have to write four articles in my day, I know that they'll probably take me about an hour to complete.

Finally, take things one step at a time. Don't think about item seven when you're on item one. Put everything else out of your mind. Pretend that item one is the only thing you have to do. You'll find that you're more relaxed that way and as a result, things will go faster and easier.

You cant make money in the market unless you take a serious approach to trading. To achieve substantial returns on a regular basis, you have to choose a stock trading system that has passed the test of time.

First, let us find out what a trading system means. It is a group of specific parameters that determine entry and exit points for a given equity.

Some of the common technical analysis tools that build these parameters are: moving averages, stochastic, oscillators, relative strength and Bollinger bands. Sometimes, two or more of these forms combine to create a rule. For instance, the MA crossover system uses two moving average parameters (the long-term and the short-term) to create a rule that tells you to buy when the short-term crosses above the long term, and sell when the opposite holds. In some cases, a rule uses only one indicator. A system might have a rule that prevents any purchase unless the relative strength is above a certain level. However, it is a combination of all these kinds of rules that forms a trading system.

As the success of the overall system depends on the performance of the rules, system traders try optimization in order to manage risk, increase gains, and ensure long-term stability. This is done by the modification of different parameters within each rule. Optimization, however, can improve results only marginally. The combination of parameters used is the key to the success of a system.

In an effective system, the head rules over the heart. It throws all emotion out of trading. Investors, who fail to cope with losses, often second-guess their decisions and end up losers. If a pre-developed system is followed, system traders need not make any decision as the system is not empirical but automated. Reducing such human inefficiencies yield more profits.

Trading systems are, however, complex. They require a good understanding of technical analysis, the ability to make empirical decisions, and a solid knowledge of how parameters work.

Most of us have heard that we need to develop our passion. There should be at least one thing that makes us jump out of bed in the morning, happy to be alive just because we have the opportunity to do it. But what is that one thing, and how do we find it?

Fellow Career Coach Gail Blanke writes in this month's Real Simple magazine about an exercise to help us realize more fully where our passions lie.

"Imagine you're at a party where you don't know anyone and you're wishing you were somewhere else. But then you overhear a small group talking about something so compelling that you forget your shyness and walk straight up to them and say, 'Excuse me. I couldn't help overhearing you talking about X, and I just had to get into the conversation.' What are they talking about? Is it Tuscan cooking? Or something you hadn't considered, like raising golden retrievers? Whatever it is, it's a passion of yours. Maybe not the only one, but one you love. See what you can make out of it."

Sure, it sounds nice to be passionate about something, but until you know what yours is, you really cannot do much to fulfill it. Do not feel left out if you do'nt know what your passion is. You cannot expect to know or understand it fully as a 20-year old college kid, or even as a 40-year old mid-level manager.

If you are having a hard time finding your passion, it may require a step back and a fresh look inside to see what is truly there. Instead of trying to live out a life that someone else may have created for you, determine what your unique passions are and then use them.

Nestled in between the Abids police station and Metro Shoes is the entrance to the Orient Estates Mall. Steps To Follow For Opening A Demat Account

Many banks are taking out there IPOs and most of you must be interested in investing money in the IPOs that are coming up. For this you first have to have a "demat account".

A demat or dematerialised account holds shares in electronic form, thus saving you the bother of holding shares in paper form. Possessing a demat account is now a prerequisite for stock market investments.

You can open demat account in banks, financial institutions and stock broking houses. The broking houses in such cases also act as DPs (depository participants) intermediating between the depositories CDSL or NSDL and the investor. To open a demat account, first of all you have to submit an application to a DP and along with it submit required documents. Once you have a demat account to your name, you can open a trading account with a broker of your choice.

The shares bought and sold by you are reflected in your demat account. Any previously held physical share can also be dematerialized and transferred to the account.

The DP, at regular intervals, provides you with an account statement showing the balance of shares in your demat account and transactions during a period.

Following steps can help you open a demat account:

First of all you have to look for the institutions offering DP services. You have two options. Either you choose a bank/financial institution or a stock broker who could provide you the DP services as well. The factors that help you in the selection should be the charges and location convenience. The fees charged for DP services differ across the industry. Though the rates change, the charges normally categorized under the following heads:

Account openingfee

Annual maintenancefee

Transaction fee

Besides the above, depository participants also charge service tax as applicable. A bank or other DP might sometimes waive the initial account opening fees. It is better to choose a bank where you have been holding your savings account for long, then much of the paper work would get simpler and documentation will not take much time, as you are already known to the banker.

The Documents required opening a demat account:

A set of documents needed to be provided to the agent at the time of opening account are:

1. Duly completed account opening form and passport size photos;

2. A copy of PAN card as proof of identity;

3. Personalized cheque/Copy of the bank passbook

4. A copyof passport/voter ID/ ration card as a proof of address

Signing of the DP-investor agreement.

On submitting of the complete set of documents, the agent will complete the other formalities with the depository and facilitate opening of the account. You will be given a unique account number (BO ID- Beneficiary Owner Identity), which will serve as a reference number for all further transactions. After that you, must also collect delivery instruction (DI) slips from the DP. A DI slip has to be filled and sent to the DP on every delivery (sale of shares) you make. DI slip is an instruction to the DP to debit your account and credit the brokers account with the specific stock.

It is very important that the DI instruction should reach the DP the very next day after the sale, failing which the securities wont reach the broker and hence the exchange. This could result in auction of the security. For instance the exchange is able to procure those shares only at a higher price, and then the resultant loss has to be borne by you, as investor. If you have demat account as well with your stockbroker you can escape this irksome process of sending DIs, and give him a standing instruction (POA-Power of Attorney) for delivery of stocks that you sell.

Once you constrict down on a DP and get the documents ready, opening a demat account is very simple process.

Beverage distribution is one of the easiest and most profitable businesses Ive seen.

I like it because you dont need a lot of customers to make a lot of money. You can easily make an extra $5,000 with a few customers.

You will see why beverage is one of the best businesses in the world. I started in beverage while I had my tool and novelty distribution business. I was looking for new products, products that I did not need to exchange so often and that I could sell over and over again to the same customers. This last part was key.

You see, when I was selling tools I figured that I could sell up to 1,000 tools per day or more but every customer was unique. In other words, if you buy a hammer at a store on Monday chances are you will not go on Tuesday and buy another Hammer. Even if it only costs $1.98!

Dont get me wrong, the tool distribution business is a wonderful business and I still love it. I was just looking for another type of product to add to my current items.

I figured out that in order to sell the same product over and over again it would have to be a food product. So I started going to trade shows and looking at chocolate, potato chips, candy, and other products. I even looked at name brands like Hersheys. The problem was that I could not buy directly from the manufacturers and the profit margins were super low, about 12%. I was used to up to 70% profit margins.

Finally I ran into a beverage manufacturer of an Energy Drink. They were just starting with their product and it was easier to become a distributor.

Now let me tell you a bit about Energy Drinks. Energy Drinks are the new Super Profitable products. Everybody makes money, the manufacturer, the distributor and the retailer. You see, Energy Drinks sell for $1.99 to $2.40 at the stores for 8 to 16 ounces. This is incredible if you consider that you can buy a soda thats the same size for $0.50 to $0.75. Even a 20 ounce soda runs you about $1.25.

Distributors love the product because they make about $8 per every case they sell compared with about $2 to $4 for their other products.

Lets get back to the Beverage Business. The great part of this business is that if you have only one customer going into the store buying your product you sell at least 1 case of that product per month.

You see; if you sell a soda someone can buy a soda every day, compared to a hammer, where people dont buy a hammer every day. So you need fewer customers because you sell more per day.

For example: Lets say you have only 100 stores that you service yourself and sell 3 different beverages. You sell one Energy Drink and 2 Sodas. You make $8 from every case of the Energy Drink and $3 from every case of soda.

If you sell only 1 case of the Energy Drink per week per store and 3 cases of each soda youll make about $600 profit from the sodas per week and another $800 profit per week from the Energy Drink. Thats $5,600 profit per month with only 100 stores and only 3 different products. Its very easy to ramp up to 5 or even 8 products. This is why I love the beverage business.

Now let me tell you a bit more about Energy Drinks. They are the category that is growing the fastest of any other drink. It grows up to 70% per year in the US compared with 2% growth for soda. Companies are still growing from 100% to 300% per year every single year. The best part is that there is no end in sight.

Not only that, the Energy Drink Business is incredibly fun. You get advertising and promotion from companies, you get to do club and store promotions, get t-shirts, hats, gifts, extra commissions and free product from the Energy Drink companies. You also get free racks, coolers, sometimes even refrigerators.
